Keri Selkirk, MBA. Keri is a seasoned senior leader with a passion for strong governance and collaborative organizational cultures to support organizational and system improvements and change for the improved health and well-being of people and communities. Her areas of expertise include board development and governance, leadership and management development, strategic planning, enterprise risk management, organizational development and design, change management, business planning/proposal development, interim leadership, and transitional planning, management, coaching and support.

With over 20 years’ experience in leadership in health and the not-for-profit field, Keri’s background includes working with a National Health Charity, an Academic Health Sciences Centre, and 11 years building a large primary care organization that works with family physicians and allied health professionals to provide collaborative interdisciplinary care to 160,000 Ontarians.

Keri is a trained governance peer facilitator and experienced planner and implementer. Keri is proud to have participated in the education of the future leaders of our community as a lecturer at Western University, Health Sciences, sharing her experience and expertise in organizational management, and health system costs and challenges.

One of Keri’s core values is engaging with other like-minded individuals and organizations to both give of her personal time in service, and to learn from others. She has engaged in this by previously Chairing the Family Selection and Support Committee at Habitat for Humanity Heartland, both ensuring committee functioning, and providing direct support to families through education sessions.   She a is past-president of the Association of Family Health Teams of Ontario – a young and growing organization when she joined it – providing leadership, direct operational support when needed and becoming a trained governance facilitator for the organization. She is a Public Appointments Member on the Council of the College of Registered Psychotherapists, has previously been a member of the Quality of Care Committee of St. Joseph’s Healthcare London and is currently part of the Legal Aid Ontario Area Committee.

Keri holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph, a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, a Master of Laws (Administrative focus) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.  She has also received a Certificate in Adult Education from Seneca College in addition to numerous other professional development courses completed.  Keri is truly committed to life-long learning!

Keri is passionate about travel and learning about the culture, history, and unique flora and fauna of other parts of the beautiful planet we live on together.
